Lerwick South Ward 2007

Dear Voter

As one of your candidates in the forthcoming SIC elections  I hope to call on most of you before the elections on the 3rd May but with over 3300 electors in this new ward, I might not manage to visit you all.

My aim as your councillor is to represent YOUR views.

The SIC holds the legal responsibility to provide various important services to the community and must decide what priority they should have and how best they can be delivered locally.

Of course Lerwick will continue to be an integral part of the wider Shetland community

With the recent completion of service improvements  elsewhere in the the islands - schools ,ferries and terminals , leisure and care centres , main roads etc, its time for Lerwick TO CATCH UP!
